The 5 star Mont Rochelle Hotel, which used to be La Couronne Hotel, invites its guests to relax in one of their exclusive bedrooms and suites, most of which offer spectacular views across the valleys and vines of the beautiful Franschhoek valley in the Cape Winelands, Western Province, South Africa.
Each of the 16 guest rooms and 6 suites at Mont Rochelle Hotel & Wine Estate is individually decorated, creating a unique ambiance for its guests. En suite bathrooms, telephones, televisions, safes, under-floor heating, air-conditioning and in-room refreshment facilities are amongst the facilities of each room at this luxurious hotel.
The Mont Rochelle Hotel & Mountain Vineyards spans over three wings on this beautiful garden and vineyard estate, providing guests with the privacy expected of a Luxury Boutique Hotel. Guests arrive in the Garden Wing of the Mont Rochelle Hotel Franschhoek in which the Reception, Colonial Cigar Bar, eight Luxury Bedrooms, one Junior Suite as well as the Business Centre are located.
In the Manor House of the Mont Rochelle Hotel in Franschhoek are the Fine Dining Restaurant as well as two Junior Suites, one Deluxe Suite and two Luxury Bedrooms. Below the hotel’s Restaurant is where the third wing of the Hotel is located, the Vineyard Wing. It is in this part of the Mont Rochelle Hotel, where each of the luxury bedrooms has its own private garden, as well as two Deluxe Suites with private plunge pools.

The Mont Rochelle Equestrian Centre offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a three hour Wine Tasting tour on horse back. Alternatively, hourly horse rides can also be arranged for guests.

At the Mont Rochelle Hotel, the owners have a passion for food and wine, therefore two very different dining venues are available to guests staying at Mont Rochelle Hotel where guests may enjoy a meal to suite their mood.
Fine dining is available at Mange Tout which is situated in the main hotel building. Mont Rochelle, a more relaxed venue, with Mediterranean style meals is housed in the Wine Tasting venue.
Enjoy Al Fresco Dining at the Mont Rochelle Restaurant, which is situated in the Wine Tasting Facility. This relaxed up-market venue will cater for all tastes, with Mediterranean Style food.
Gourmet Winelands Picnic baskets can be pre-ordered and collected from here to be enjoyed at one of our designated picnic areas under the Willows or between the Vines
The Colonial Cigar Bar at the Mont Rochelle Hotel serves light snacks, sandwiches and salads throughout the day. This menu is also available to Hotel residents at the Swimming Pool.
